Dwelling place designed for a young couple in São Paulo
This concerns to a reconfiguration of the original floor plan of Itamarati Building (Project: Ciro Ribeiro Pereira 1953), regarding the future habitants, a young married couple
Dentre os três dormitórios existentes optou-se pela demolição de dois.
Nota-se que as principais intervenções entre a planta existente e a trabalhada advém da desutilização da dependência de serviço, transformada em lavanderia, que por sua vez cedeu o seu antigo limite a cozinha.
Por fim, o estar passou a ocupar parcela do que outrora fora cozinha, conferindo ao espaço uma planta retangular.
A organização programática se dá a partir de uma caixa em madeira, que agrupa: dormitório, banheiros, cozinha e lavanderia. Atribuindo caráter sensorial ao volume, que parece ter sido encaixado no espaço preexistente.
Parte da caixa, a voltada ao estar, possui diferentes funções, dentre elas: escritório rebatível, este aberto por meio de portas do tipo camarão; apoio para aparelho de ar condicionado; nichos para máquina de café e exibição da coleção de pratos artesanais em cerâmica; e por fim, as portas de acesso ao programa intimo.
The wooden box as well as the parallel bookcase, made by metallic sheets, have the same height and are located in the longitudinal direction of the space. Together, they attach visual comfort because of their proportions and direct the visitor's gaze to the tree tops outside the building.
In the kitchen, the cobogó - a king of rolled brick - filters the sunshine with its shapes producing shadows on the floor. These ones were eternally printed on the floor, with amused pink granilite circles.
Predicting the possibility of a future baby, the living room was demarcated in a sensitive way, including a distinct materiality in part of the floor, the burnt cement pigmented pink.
